Lockdown Coffee was founded by retired corrections officer Lieutenant Dave Rappaport with one mission: to brew bold coffee while giving back to the men and women who serve behind the walls and beyond.

Every bag of Lockdown Coffee fuels more than your day — it supports a mission of awareness and solidarity for those who face trauma on the front lines. We proudly stand with law enforcement, corrections officers, military, therapists, counselors, EMT's, EMS and mental health professionals who serve and support others.

But our mission goes deeper than coffee. Far too many officers struggle in silence with PTSD, stress, and mental health challenges, and too many lives have been lost to suicide. Lockdown Coffee is committed to raising awareness, breaking the stigma, and making sure no officer feels alone in their fight. 

After 21 years of service, Dave wanted to create something meaningful—coffee that brings people together, honors sacrifice, and sparks conversations about issues that matter.
